Job Responsibilities:
As a 2L Patent Prosecution Summer Associate at the law firm, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities that are integral to the patent prosecution process. These include:
- Receiving extensive training in all aspects of patent prosecution, which encompasses analysis work, due diligence, and litigation support.
- Participating in the unique Patent Boot Camp training program offered by the law firm.

- Receiving financial support to take the . Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) exam.

Education and Experience Information:
To be considered for the 2L Patent Prosecution Summer Associate position, candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements:
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in a full-time Juris Doctor (.) program at an American Bar Association (ABA)-accredited law school.
- Must possess . citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.
- Applicants must be a registered patent agent or qualified to sit for the USPTO exam.
- For positions in the technology group, candidates should have backgrounds in engineering and/or computer science.
- For positions in the life sciences group, candidates should possess graduate-level degrees in life sciences, plant biology, chemistry, and/or medicine.
Salary Information:
The compensation for Summer Associates is designed to align with first-year associate salaries, set at $225,000 annually for the class of 2025. This salary structure may be subject to modifications in the future. Additional benefits may include health and wellness benefits and paid holidays.
