A Jersey City-based general practice law firm with a focus on civil and business litigation is actively seeking a full-time Associate Attorney. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney with 1–2 years of legal experience to gain immediate exposure to courtroom appearances, legal drafting, depositions, discovery, and client interaction. The position offers a fully remote work environment while allowing the selected candidate to work closely with the firm’s managing attorney and rapidly develop litigation skills early in their career.

Draft pleadings, legal briefs, and motions across a variety of subject matters
Support lead attorney in deposition and trial preparation
Attend court conferences and mediations
Conduct legal research using LexisNexis
Assist clients in responding to and drafting discovery
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
1–2 years of experience in a law firm setting and/or judicial clerkship
Strong academic credentials (GPA of or higher)
Demonstrated ability to handle legal research and writing projects independently
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a remote environment
Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
New Jersey Bar admission required
New York Bar admission is a plus, but not required
Proficiency with legal research tools (LexisNexis)
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Familiarity with Adobe PDF software
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
