Job Title: Tax Director - Private Companies

Job Responsibilities:

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Required Field of Study: Accounting

Minimum Years of Experience:
- 8 years

Certification(s) Required:
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates a thought leader-level knowledge and/or proven record of success in assisting companies to understand and assess the tax impact of business operations and transactions in multiple jurisdictions. This experience is preferred within a global network of professional services firms, law firm, or corporate tax department of a multinational company.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- Apply deep understanding of tax compliance and consulting for various entities, including corporations, partnerships, pass-through entities, and Subchapter S corporations.
- Demonstrate technical prowess with ASC740.
- Identify and address client needs while developing and sustaining client relationships.
- Use networking, negotiation, and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities.
- Prepare and present complex written and verbal materials.
- Define resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection.
- Lead teams to generate a vision, establish direction, and motivate members.
- Create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $140,900 - $434,000, and individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. The company offers a wide range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, personal and family sick leave, and more.
