A law firm seeks a litigation associate attorney in Pittsburgh, PA, to support senior litigators across a broad range of commercial disputes, including depositions, motion practice, and trial advocacy, while managing client relationships and case strategy.
Duties
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and briefs.
Take and defend depositions and assist at mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client communications.
Manage case files and exercise “first-chair” responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
Admission in good standing to the Pennsylvania Bar.
Minimum of two years’ civil litigation experience (judicial clerkship experience may qualify).
Additional admissions in Ohio and/or West Virginia preferred.
Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Education
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active Pennsylvania Bar admission.
