Job Title: Employee Relations Manager, **Members Only** (AMZL)

Job Responsibilities:
The Employee Relations Manager for the North American Employee Relations team at Amazon supports Field Operations organizations across fulfillment and logistics business lanes. The central objective is to ensure fair, respectful, and consistent treatment of employees in line with the company's core business values and objectives. The responsibilities of this position are divided into proactive and reactive categories. The Manager collaborates with and influences field operations managers, human resources, and contractors, analyzing multiple levels of employee and partner feedback to identify risks and gaps. Key responsibilities include creating, auditing, and sustaining positive workplace relations programs and designing and conducting training sessions to drive best practices. The Manager handles crisis-oriented situations that arise under severe time constraints and works on employee relations issues within a single station, specific geographic region, or network-wide. Balancing time between projects and crisis-response is essential for success.

The role requires the Manager to possess employee and labor relations expertise, excellent judgment, and highly-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. The Manager must be comfortable presenting to senior leaders and communicating with frontline employees. The successful candidate will be a strong project manager, capable of independently managing large-scale, network-wide projects. The Manager will quickly become a critical "source of truth" regarding whether the organization is meeting its core values and principles.

This full-time position reports to the WW Consumer organization for the company and supports sites across one or more operational regions, requiring significant domestic travel, sometimes with short notice, up to 50% of the time.

Key job responsibilities include:
- Applying employee and labor relations expertise to identify trends, gaps, and challenges, and executing solution-focused strategies and programs to mitigate risks.
- Working reactively on crisis-oriented partner issues under time limitations while exercising excellent judgment.
- Independently managing large-scale, network-wide projects delivered on time to improve frontline partner experience.
- Using strong analytical skills to develop persuasive narratives and recommendations based on data and anecdotes, and defining and measuring the success of programs.
- Producing high-quality written communications that concisely analyze problems and recommend solutions, and designing and delivering engaging training sessions.
- Building constructive relationships with critical stakeholders to share information and influence change.
- Working independently with minimal supervision in ambiguous situations and persevering over internal and external barriers to drive resolutions.
- Launching and managing sustainable mechanisms for entire networks.

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law with emphasis on labor and employee relations.
- Experience supporting large hourly workforces is highly desired.
- Successful record of creating, improving, and executing programs at scale.
- Experience analyzing and using metrics to identify vulnerabilities and drive improvements in the employee experience.
- Skilled in MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree, JD, or other specialized training in labor/employee relations.
- Experience building and launching programs that measurably impact positive engagement.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, change direction quickly, and manage projects through ambiguity and constant change.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering on commitments.
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal form, with extensive public speaking, training, and/or leadership communication skills.
- Solid sense of accountability, high-quality judgment, and sound decision-making.
- Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Ability to quickly connect with people across a wide variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
- Previous experience managing operations.

Salary Information:
The compensation for this position reflects the cost of labor across several . geographic markets. The base pay ranges from $114,600/year in the lowest geographic market to $205,900/year in the highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The company is a total compensation company, and dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
