Job Title: Senior Director, Global Transaction Tax (International Transaction Tax)
Experience: At least 9 years of relevant experience in a mergers & acquisitions tax practice at a Big 4 firm, Big Law firm, or similar firm, and at least 6+ years of experience in US international tax
Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography

Job Description:
- Seeking a Senior Director with deep international tax expertise to join growing International Tax M&A practice
- Work with experienced partners, fellow senior directors, and teams in the United States and globally on complex international tax matters
- Add value for clients while being a trusted advisor
- Strategic thinker with ability to solve complex international tax issues
Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including review of US tax returns, financials, and other tax documentation
- Evaluate potential US international tax risks and opportunities
- Provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
- Oversee analysis and interpretation of US international tax aspects of complex financial models
- Ensure alignment with global tax strategies and advise on potential impacts
- Lead and provide guidance on US international tax aspects of purchase agreements
- Negotiate terms to optimize tax outcomes for clients
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including federal, transfer pricing, and non-US tax experts
- Deliver integrated and high-quality tax solutions
- Offer strategic advice on US international tax implications of sophisticated deal structures
- Including financing arrangements, repatriation strategies, and treaty implications
- Spearhead design and implementation of comprehensive global tax restructurings and planning initiatives
- Drive innovation and efficiency
- Stay at the forefront of developments in US international tax
- Lead thought leadership initiatives through publications, presentations, and industry forums
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Leverage expertise to become a trusted advisor
- Drive business development across Tax and the rest of A&M
Qualifications:
- CPA, JD (with bachelor's degree in accounting, preferred), or LLM required
- At least 9 years of relevant experience in a mergers & acquisitions tax practice at a Big 4 firm, Big Law firm, or similar firm
- At least 6+ years of experience in US international tax
- Strong writing, analytical, research, excel, and organizational skills
- Strong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills
- Strong sense of personal motivation and ability to work with a team
- Ability to work in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment
