Job Title: Manager, International Tax (Investment Management)
Job Responsibilities:
As a Manager in the International Tax sector, especially within Investment Management, you will be an integral part of an engagement team, leveraging your expertise in accounting and taxation to deliver tax consulting and compliance services. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting high-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax filings.
- Leading client meetings focused on compliance and advisory projects that explore tax planning opportunities and the implications of various transactions.
- Training, mentoring, and supervising new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors.
- Taking on lead client-contact roles, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.
- Conducting billing and profitability analysis on engagements to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Participating in marketplace eminence building and pursuits to enhance the company's reputation and client base.
- Providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance to develop and motivate the engagement team.
- Supervising Senior and Tax Consultants in their daily tasks and professional growth.
Education and Experience Information:
To qualify for the role of Manager, International Tax, candidates must meet the following educational and experiential criteria:
Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience providing tax planning and/or compliance services.
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, requiring co-location in person 2-3 days per week.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work and clients served.
- One of the following active accreditations obtained:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed attorney.
- Enrolled Agent.
Preferred:
- Experience in strategic planning initiatives.
- Focus on partnership, funds, and/or international taxation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Previous Big 4 experience is advantageous.
- Strong executive presence, demonstrating leadership and professional confidence.
Salary Information:
The compensation for this role takes into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business needs. The estimated salary range for this position is between $107,100 to $235,300. It is important to note that it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, which is contingent upon individual and organizational performance, among other factors.
