Job Title: National Tax Office & Transactional Specialist Entry Level Staff
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in instilling confidence in organizations by ensuring their financial health.
- Craft business solutions beyond just spreadsheets.
- Consider tax issues related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Research complex tax issues and write technical memos.
- Assist with international tax structuring and operational issues.
- Prepare tax returns and be an integral part of client engagement teams.
- Assist with National Tax Office functions, including writing internal and external tax alerts on current tax developments and emerging planning techniques.
- Assist with internal tax education functions.
- Handle the tax aspects of transactions.
- Engage in meaningful interactions with staff at all levels and with clients.
- Deepen knowledge in tax and tax consulting through exposure to multiple service lines.
Education and Experience Information:
- Strong interest in tax law, as demonstrated by tax courses completed or planned before graduation.
- Detail-oriented leader with problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a Master’s degree in accounting or tax.
- Must be pursuing an LLM, JD, or CPA license.
- Academic success with a minimum major GPA of .
Salary Information:
- Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience as per applicable state requirements.
- Colorado monthly base range: $7,.
- Illinois monthly base range: $7,.
