Litigation Jr/Mid Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The Litigation Jr/Mid Associate will be part of the Litigation department at the law firm. The primary responsibilities include:
- Engaging in complex litigation cases, requiring superior research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Collaborating with a collegial team to provide legal services that meet high standards of quality and professionalism.
- Assisting in various stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.
- Preparing legal documents and ensuring that they are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Participating in strategy meetings and contributing to the development of case strategies.
- Communicating effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders involved in the litigation process.
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with the utmost care.
Education and Experience:
- A strong academic background is required for this role.
- The candidate should have 2-3 years of relevant experience in complex litigation.
- Judicial clerkship experience is highly encouraged and preferred.
- The candidate must be a member of or willing to take the California Bar.
Salary Information:
In accordance with applicable Pay Transparency Laws, the pay range for this position in California is $235,000 - $260,000 per year. This pay range may not be applicable to other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on their qualifications and experience.
