Job Responsibilities:
Interns in the office of Congressman Guthrie will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at providing a comprehensive understanding of the . House of Representatives. Responsibilities include:
- Providing constituent services to callers, which involves addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
- Assisting staff with research tasks, which may involve gathering data, analyzing information, and preparing reports.
- Attending hearings and briefings to gain insights into legislative processes and current issues.
- Performing administrative duties, such as organizing files, managing correspondence, and supporting office operations.
- Participating in intern projects that vary in size and scope, covering areas such as legislation, press, and constituent services.

Education and Experience Information:
The internship is open to qualified college students and recent college graduates. While priority is given to constituents of Kentucky’s Second District, all candidates who submit completed applications will be considered. Successful candidates should demonstrate:
- A pleasant office demeanor.
