Job Title: Financial Services Global Structuring - Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company's legal entity information database, with a focus on tax attributes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current regulations.
- Lead teams and oversee client accounts, providing strategic planning and mentoring to junior staff to foster their development and ensure project success.
- Assure project success and uphold exceptional standards, motivating and inspiring team members to deliver quality work aligned with client expectations.
- Leverage team strengths to meet client expectations, promoting a collaborative environment that enhances productivity and innovation.
- Implement technology-enabled solutions for tax advisory, driving digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies within the department.
- Develop new skills outside of comfort zone, acting to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively.
- Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
- Analyze complex ideas or proposals, building a range of meaningful recommendations to address client needs.
- Use multiple sources of information, including broader stakeholder views, to develop solutions and recommendations.
- Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet the company's or client's expectations, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.
- Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making processes.
- Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients, managing a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
- Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points for clear communication with stakeholders.
- Uphold the company's code of ethics and business conduct, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field is necessary.
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.
- A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study is required.
- Master of Laws in Taxation is preferred for candidates applying for this position.
- Experience with private equity ownership structures and knowledge of . tax concepts and classifications are advantageous.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, experience in automation and digitization, and building and utilizing client relationships are beneficial.
- Supervising teams for tax compliance, coaching staff with meaningful feedback, and developing new relationships and selling services are valuable skills for this role.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $98,300 - $266,000, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
