Progressive, one of Forbes' 2024 Best Employers for Diversity, is seeking an experienced insurance defense attorney to join our bodily injury (BI) unit in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide legal representation to Progressive insureds and/or the Progressive Insurance Companies in motor vehicle insurance defense litigation.

As part of our team, you will handle cases from beginning to end, including preparing legal documents and negotiating settlements. You will also work closely with clients and claims partners to prepare timely reports on litigation, utilizing appropriate defenses to achieve positive outcomes. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing written discovery, depositions, and medical records to assess the value of claims and determine risk exposure.

This is a full-time, entry-level position that requires a Juris Doctor degree or a Master of Laws (LLM) and admission to practice law in Tennessee.

Compensation for this position ranges from $95,040 to $105,600 per year, with the potential to earn an annual cash incentive payment of up to 30% of eligible earnings based on company performance.
