Job Overview:
A Philadelphia-based law firm is currently seeking a motivated associate with up to four years of experience to support its active personal injury litigation practice. This role involves full-cycle case management, including client engagement, court appearances, and collaboration with a team of seasoned attorneys. The ideal candidate brings strong advocacy skills and an eagerness to contribute meaningfully in a team-oriented legal setting.
Duties:
Manage a personal caseload of injury-related litigation matters from intake through resolution
Conduct arbitrations, depositions, and motion hearings
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Participate in settlement discussions and trial preparation
Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and manage expectations
Work closely with a team of attorneys to strategize and advance cases efficiently
Requirements:
0-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury
Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania
Admission to the New Jersey Bar is considered an asset
Courtroom confidence and a client-first attitude
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
New Jersey Bar admission preferred
Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in legal research and drafting
Effective time management and organizational skills

Familiarity with litigation software and case management tools
