Job Title: Manager - Life Sciences Compliance
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification and mitigation of ethics and compliance-associated risks for Life Sciences projects.
- Drive day-to-day ethics and compliance monitoring activities, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, regulatory requirements, guardrails, documentation retention requirements, and any remediation plans.
- Support the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and practices for identifying, managing, and reporting on ethics and compliance risks within the Life Sciences practices.
- Lead strategic and operational initiatives to monitor firm processes related to project scope and deliverable review throughout the lifecycle of projects in collaboration with client service teams, client service risk, and the legal department.
- Synthesize data into insights for regular reporting on ethics and compliance matters associated with Life Sciences projects.
- Provide guidance on ethics and compliance-related training and communications for client delivery teams, including regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate on the development of training content and build reports on adherence to training and other requirements by client delivery teams.
- Engage in regionally focused initiatives to raise awareness of and further the firm’s ethics and compliance program.
- Facilitate collaboration with a cross-functional and senior stakeholder group and regulatory compliance experts to shape regulatory and ethics and compliance program-related obligations.
- Sustain and evolve the ethics and compliance program, upholding the commitment to integrity and lawful practices.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree(s) and/or applicable professional certifications (., Juris Doctor or CPA) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the life sciences and/or healthcare industry.
- Prior background in implementing holistic risk and legal/regulatory compliance programs preferred.
- Working knowledge of US federal and state laws and regulations in life sciences and healthcare, including fraud, waste, and abuse laws.
Salary Information:
- A reasonable estimated salary range for this role in the United States is $159,200 - $212,100 USD.
- In Canada, the estimated salary range is $153,000 - $203,000 CAD.
- Actual salaries may vary based on factors like office location, experience, skills, and organizational needs.
- The role may be eligible for bonuses, subject to the company’s discretion and based on performance.
