Job Title: Tax Manager - Private Wealth

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Manager in the Private Wealth Tax practice at the company, you will be responsible for performing high-level reviews of tax research related to individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift work papers and tax returns. You will also prepare and lead client meetings on compliance and consulting projects concerning tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions. Additionally, your role involves training, mentoring, and supervising new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors. You will begin taking on lead client-contact roles, and manage billing and profitability analysis on engagements. Furthermore, you will be involved in marketplace eminence building and pursuits.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience is required, with at least 3 years in investment management.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field is necessary.
- The candidate must have one of the following accreditations obtained:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible, the candidate must be a licensed attorney or an Enrolled Agent.
- Certifications such as Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) are required.
- The candidate should have experience reviewing partnership and/or trust documents.
- Experience in managing projects including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and billing is essential.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are necessary.
- Excellent research and writing skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- An advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM is preferred.
- Prior experience in a Big 4 or large CPA firm is advantageous.
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting is preferred.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is $93,660 to $213,200. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Candidates may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.

Additional Information:
- The role requires the ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that necessitates US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week.
- The role may require travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work done and the clients and industries/sectors served.
