As a General Liability Defense Attorney at WJCB, you will handle a variety of cases involving personal injury, property damage, and other general liability claims. You will work closely with our team of experienced attorneys to provide high-quality legal services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters
Manage a caseload and meet deadlines
Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the state bar where the office is located
At least 3 years of experience in General Liability Defense
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent research and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Detail-oriented and able to manage a high volume of cases

Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal

Job Description:
As a Paralegal at WJCB, you will work closely with our team of attorneys to provide support in all aspects of the litigation process. You will assist with case preparation, document management, and client communication.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and gather evidence
Draft legal documents, including pleadings and discovery requests
Organize and maintain case files and documents
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters
Assist with trial preparation and attendance
Manage deadlines and track case progress
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate
At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm setting
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in legal research and writing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
