A respected law firm located in Moorestown, NJ, is seeking a driven and accomplished Associate Attorney to join its dedicated workers’ compensation team. This role is ideal for a legal professional with substantial experience handling compensation matters and a passion for litigation, client advocacy, and courtroom presence. Duties:
Analyze and interpret workers’ compensation claims and case materials
Conduct in-depth legal research and draft a wide range of documents, including client advisories, motions, and appellate briefs
Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings
Prepare for trial, including development of litigation strategy and coordination with expert witnesses
Maintain an annual billable hour target of 1950 hours
Engage with clients regularly to ensure responsive, effective communication
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of focused experience in workers’ compensation litigation
Admission to the New Jersey Bar (additional jurisdictions considered a plus)
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment
Responsiveness to client communications and deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-service orientation
Education:
Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to practice law in the state of New Jersey
Additional bar admissions are advantageous
Skills:

Skilled oral advocate with litigation and courtroom experience
