Job Title: Senior, International Tax (Investment Management)
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Consultant, the candidate will be responsible for providing tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse range of . and foreign clients within the private equity and investment management sectors. Key responsibilities include:
- Working within an engagement team to draw on accounting and taxation experience to address tax implications of clients' inbound and outbound structures and investments.
- Identifying basic and some complex tax issues and providing tax analysis and recommendations for various entities and their affiliates.
- Preparing and reviewing work papers, allocations, and tax returns for partnerships and corporations.
- Researching and preparing materials for consulting projects related to tax planning considerations, such as structure reports, transaction step plans, and memoranda.
- Assisting in developing complex tax projection calculations and models to analyze tax structuring alternatives and planning opportunities.
- Utilizing proprietary technologies to assist clients in streamlining their tax compliance processes and filing obligations.
- Supervising less experienced tax consultants.
Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience providing tax planning and/or compliance services.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, requiring co-location in person 2-3 days per week.
- Ability to travel 25% on average, based on the work performed and clients served.
- One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible: Licensed attorney or Enrolled Agent.
Preferred:
- Previous experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Experience with partnership, funds, and/or international taxation.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role is $73,500 to $161,200, considering various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for geographic differentials associated with the position's location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the program's rules, with awards depending on factors including individual and organizational performance.
