Job Overview:

A well-regarded law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney with 5–10 years of experience to join its Dallas office. This position focuses on handling complex construction defect litigation, along with related matters such as jobsite injuries, product liability, and personal injury claims. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing cases from pre-suit investigation through trial, with strong client-facing skills and the ability to operate independently within a team-oriented legal environment.

Location:

  • Dallas, TX

Duties:

  • Handle complex construction defect litigation, including both residential and commercial claims

  • Manage additional matters involving jobsite injuries, product liability, and personal injury

  • Lead all phases of litigation from claim investigation to trial

  • Serve and respond to discovery and interrogatories

  • Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

  • Provide timely case status reports to clients and insurance carriers

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and opposing counsel

  • Develop litigation strategy and manage litigation timelines

  • Collaborate with team members to resolve cases effectively and efficiently

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in civil litigation with a focus on construction-related matters

  • Prior experience in construction defect claims, insurance defense, and/or personal injury litigation

  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently

  • Experience with all phases of litigation, including trials

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited . law school

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and case management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Confidence in handling client communication and courtroom advocacy

  • Skilled in drafting persuasive legal documents and negotiating resolutions

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities

  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic

  • Ability to meet deadlines and achieve favorable outcomes for clients
