In this role as an Energy Project Development Associate Attorney at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic team of attorneys in the Real Estate, Energy, Environmental & Land Use practice area. This position is open to mid to senior-level associates with at least 4 years of experience in the energy industry. As a member of our Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of transactions related to the development, acquisition, and financing of renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in the energy industry, including leading utilities, pipeline operators, municipalities, independent power producers, commercial banks, equity and tax investors, and EPC contractors.
- Draft and negotiate project development and operation contracts, such as EPC Contracts, Supply Agreements, Offtake Agreements, and O&M Agreements.
- Assist with ancillary financing documents for debt work, tax equity work, and M&A work.
- Communicate directly with clients and third-party advisors regularly.
- Take ownership of projects and work effectively as a member of a team.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Attend meetings and participate in conference calls with clients and other parties.

Requirements:

- 4+ years of experience in the energy industry at a large law firm with a national reputation or comparable in-house counsel role.
- Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school.
- Admission to and in good standing with the state bar in which you reside.

Compensation:

- Pay range: $310,000 - $390,000 per year.
- Salary information provided in accordance with the New York City Salary Transparency Law.
