Job Overview

Duties

• Draft, review, and respond to petitions, complaints, motions, and written discovery.
• Attend hearings and meetings with clients as needed.
• Prepare for and attend depositions.
• Assist with preparation for mediations and trials.

Requirements

• Florida Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum of 4 years of civil defense litigation experience.
• Experience managing up to 25+ cases simultaneously.
• Proficiency in attending and defending depositions, and court appearances.
• Strong client communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• State Bar License.

Skills

• Basic computer operation and proficiency in Microsoft products.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and anticipate work needs.
