Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Manager in the Personal Financial Services practice, the candidate will be part of a team dedicated to providing advisory services to high net worth individuals and private wealth management structures. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting private companies with business advisory needs such as audit, tax compliance, and planning to improve operational efficiency.
- Helping clients develop, design, and implement plans to achieve personal wealth goals and maintain them for future generations.
- Analyzing tax efficiencies of income tax, investment, insurance, risk, and other lifestyle investment planning.
- Working as part of a team of problem solvers to address complex business issues from strategy to execution.
- Encouraging team collaboration and inviting opinions from all team members.
- Handling ambiguous and unstructured problems effectively.
- Leading coaching conversations at all levels.
- Balancing big-picture thinking with detailed management.
- Anticipating stakeholder needs and developing potential solutions.

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 6 years
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and proven success in consulting with high net worth individuals in areas such as financial planning, wealth transfer planning, and business succession planning or trust and estate work.
- Comprehensive technical skills with Form 1040 for high net worth individuals and Form K1 production and compliance.
- Experience in identifying and addressing client needs.
- Leading as a business advisor, including developing new relationships and introducing new services with a "One Firm" service mindset.
- Familiarity with a CRM system is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Innovating through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions.
- Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools.
- Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.
- Advancing pricing strategy through the use of pricing tools and influencing a shift to alternative fee arrangements.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $119,300 - $328,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
