Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Litigation Attorney at the law firm, you will be a crucial part of the litigation team with the following responsibilities:
- Manage your own caseload of litigation matters in areas such as commercial, contract/business disputes, general liability, construction, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death claims.
- Represent a diverse clientele, including individuals, businesses, and organizations, ensuring their legal needs are met effectively.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies from initiation to resolution, including discovery management, depositions, coordination with experts, law and motion practice, client and opposing counsel interactions, trial preparation, and mediation.
- Take on a leadership role by supervising a team of associates, providing instruction, training, and constructive feedback to support their professional growth.
- Uphold exceptional communication and advocacy skills, maintaining a client-focused approach with a passion for achieving successful outcomes.
Education and Experience Information
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as an attorney with extensive litigation experience in general liability, construction, personal/catastrophic injury, contracts/business, and/or commercial disputes within a law firm environment.
- Proven ability to handle litigation cases independently from start to finish.
- Experience in supervising associates and aiding in their professional development is preferred but not mandatory.
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of Colorado, or eligibility for admission via motion by reciprocity.
Salary Information
The expected base salary range for the Senior Litigation Attorney position is between $150,000 and $175,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience.
