**Members Only** is seeking an Associate Counsel to join our Strategic Legal Advocacy team, which works to identify and address changes in judicial doctrines that impact our clients' rights. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of litigation experience, including any clerkships, and a strong commitment to public interest work.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a resource to **Members Only** litigation teams, providing research and drafting assistance on novel or difficult legal issues
• Monitor developments in federal and state courts that affect **Members Only**'s docket
• Engage with clients, partners, co-counsel, and experts on behalf of **Members Only**
• Develop skills to serve as a spokesperson with media

Qualifications:

• . from an accredited . law school
• Licensed to practice law in any location
• 1-5 years of litigation experience, with preference for appellate clerkship and/or appellate practice experience
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong work ethic, good judgment, initiative, creativity, and sense of humor
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive compensation package, including excellent benefits
• Salary based on experience and location:
o Washington, .: $106,400 - $125,300
o Remote and other **Members Only** locations: $95,200 - $131,900
