Job Responsibilities:

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have:
- A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field (foreign education equivalent is accepted).
- Eighteen months of experience as a Tax Senior or in a related occupation, with expertise in preparing and reviewing corporate income and franchise tax returns, estimates, extensions, and provisions in multistate jurisdictions.
- Experience over eighteen months should include:
- Utilizing tax tools and software like CorpTax, Onesource for income taxes, CCH, BNA, RIA CheckPoint, and Superforms to perform tax research and review income tax returns for business entities.
- Using CCH, BNA, and Bloomberg Terminal for researching and resolving complex client tax issues.
- Providing income and franchise tax consulting, planning, audit defense, and supporting financial accounting and reporting for income taxes.
- Preparing complex tax technical memos and responding to information document requests and various tax notices.
- Assisting clients in resolving tax disputes, notices, and audits with revenue departments.
- Providing due diligence for tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Overseeing engagement workflow and team resources, and mentoring and guiding junior team members.
- The position requires 10% domestic travel outside normal commuting distance.
