This role offers a unique opportunity for an attorney with significant trial experience to contribute to challenging and novel employment law cases. Duties:

  • Lead and manage complex employment law litigation and trial matters from inception to resolution.
  • Represent clients in a variety of legal forums, including state and federal courts, arbitration, and mediation.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel and advocacy to clients in employment law disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide sound legal advice.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships while managing a book of business.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure high-quality case management and legal service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in first-chair litigation and trial work.
  • Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters with a successful outcome.
  • Strong oral advocacy and persuasive writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have a book of business.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.

Skills:

  • Extensive experience in litigation and trial preparation.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
