Advise clients on elder law matters including long-term care planning, Medicaid eligibility, and asset protection
Prepare legal documents such as powers of attorney, advance directives, and guardianship petitions
Assist with estate planning and probate matters relevant to elder clients
Advocate for elderly clients in court or administrative proceedings as needed
Maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and support
Demonstrated experience in elder law or related legal practice areas
Ability to manage cases independently while contributing to a collaborative firm culture
Strong client service orientation, particularly in working with elderly individuals and their families
High level of professionalism and ethical standards
Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the Wisconsin State Bar
Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
Empathetic communication and active listening abilities
Knowledge of state and federal elder law statutes and regulations
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
