Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for the Employment Law Litigation Attorney include:
- Engaging in defense litigation, which requires handling motions and possessing knowledge of both Federal and State Rules of civil procedure.
- Candidates with clerkship experience at the trial court or appellate court level, whether Federal or State, are suitable for this role.
- Participation in complex litigation and practice areas such as Employment & Labor, Commercial Litigation/Transactions, Premises Liability, and municipal law-related issues.
- Strong emphasis on communication, research, and writing skills, alongside maintaining an excellent work ethic and organizational skills.

Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 1+ years of defense litigation experience.
- Ideal candidates will also have an interest or experience in complex litigation and related practice areas.
- Candidates with business/transactional legal experience are also welcome.
- Preferred candidates are those admitted to practice in South Carolina.
