International Tax Senior Consultant, Global Trade Advisory - Tax International Tax and Transfer Pricing

Position Summary:

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Global Trade Advisory team. In this role, you will work with some of the world's most renowned companies, including over 75% of the Fortune 100, to provide powerful business solutions and strategic significance to their global supply chain. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to travel the world and work with . and multinational companies to understand and align their trade functions with their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide regulatory analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates
- Advise . and foreign multinational companies on global import and export strategies and compliance
- Assist clients with technology solutions for international trade management operations
- Plan and provide compliance assistance for import and export solutions
- Help clients improve supply chain efficiency, including trade and security, customs valuation, and transfer pricing policies
- Assist with process improvement and implementation
- Provide audit assistance and represent clients before trade authorities around the world

The Team:

Deloitte's Global Trade Advisory practice is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP's International Tax business. Our team is composed of attorneys, operations experts, technology specialists, customs brokers, auditors, and trade management professionals. We work with importers and exporters to achieve worldwide compliance and realize efficiencies in their global supply chain. Our team also works with clients to assess and potentially automate their international trade management procedures within all major trading regions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a legal, business, or technology-related field
- 3+ years of experience in import, export, and/or technology enablement (operational, government, law firm, or consulting)
- Knowledge of . import regulations and experience with export regulations, including ITAR/EAR
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on the work and clients served
- One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain: CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, US Customhouse broker's license, CUSECO, professional accreditation in EU customs law, or foreign equivalent of the above certifications
- Strong research, writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with implementing and configuring trade management software such as SAP GTS or Oracle GTM
- Project management experience and ability to develop relationships and effectively speak to import/export/technology matters
- Detail-oriented, self-starter, and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and/or Visio
- SAP SD/MM certifications are a plus

Salary Information:

- The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
- A reasonable estimate of the current range is $73,430 to $167,180.
- Compensation decisions are dependent on individual qualifications and circumstances.
