Duties

  • Draft real estate and business purchase agreements, leases, and contracts.
  • Assist in the preparation of pleadings, notices, subpoenas, and discovery.
  • Draft comprehensive estate planning documents for both simple and complex clients.
  • Analyze client financials and provide asset allocation and reallocation advice.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Independently conduct client meetings, offering legal advice and solutions.
  • Manage and delegate tasks to support staff.
  • Analyze conflicts in legal matters and advise clients on solutions.

Requirements

  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Indiana (additional state licenses are a plus).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the private practice of law.
  • Experience in business, real estate, civil litigation, estate planning, and probate.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Strong client service orientation.
  • Exceptional decision-making and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Motivated to build a network and client base.
  • Interest in speaking engagements and growing professional influence.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in Indiana (additional licenses are beneficial).
