Job Overview:
A respected law firm is seeking a Business Immigration Associate to join its employment-based immigration practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters while providing strategic legal support to corporate clients. The role is ideal for attorneys with 1 to 3 years of experience who are interested in developing expertise in employment-based immigration and working collaboratively with a knowledgeable legal ;

Location:

  • Buffalo, NY

Duties:

  • Assist with the preparation and filing of employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including E-1/E-2, H-1B, L-1, O-1, and EB-1/2/3 categories

  • Support clients with comprehensive legal services related to employment-based immigration matters

  • Conduct legal research and analysis of evolving immigration laws and policies

  • Maintain accurate records, track case deadlines, and ensure timely submissions to government agencies

  • Communicate with clients and government agencies under the supervision of senior attorneys

  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to deliver coordinated legal solutions

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience handling employment-based immigration matters

  • Demonstrated interest in business immigration law and client service

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail

  • Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in at least one . jurisdiction

Skills:

  • Excellent legal writing and technical drafting ability

  • Proficiency in legal research and case strategy

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team

  • Familiarity with employment-based visa classifications and filing requirements
