**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking a Lateral Associate with commercial technology contracting expertise to join its Corporate Services Group as a Technology Transactions Associate in our St. Louis, Denver, Kansas City, or Washington DC office. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ of experience with commercial technology contracts, licensing agreements, “Software as a Service” agreements, and data privacy laws, including but not limited to drafting and negotiating various technology contracts, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and advising clients on various intellectual property and privacy matters.

As a Technology Transactions Associate, you will have the opportunity to handle high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters, demonstrate strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills, and work independently and productively. In addition, you will have the chance to participate in business management and development efforts, while maintaining the highest ethical standards of the legal profession.

Responsibilities:

- Draft, review, and negotiate various technology contracts
- Advise clients on intellectual property and privacy matters
- Support mergers and acquisitions
- Produce quality legal work and bill required hours
- Provide excellent client service
- Participate in business management and development efforts
- Comply with ethical standards of the legal profession

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor degree
- Licensed to practice law in good standing in one or more jurisdictions where the firm conducts business
- 2+ years' experience with technology contract review, license agreements, “Software as a Service” agreements, data privacy laws and policies, and other transactional work
- Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and productively
- Interest in advancing a career in Corporate Services

Preferred Experience:

- Prior experience at a law firm
- Substantial experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate and commercial documents

Salary Information:

- Denver range: $195,000-$220,000
- Washington DC range: $195,000-$245,000
