Job Title: Trial & Litigation Attorney (7+ Years Of Experience)

Job Responsibilities:
- Work in a collaborative team environment within the Trial & Litigation Practice Group with a focus on eminent domain.
- Provide high-quality legal services in rapidly evolving areas of law.
- Engage in strategic decision-making involved in litigation, including crafting litigation strategies in complex situations.
- Present nuanced constitutional arguments in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Handle law and motion practice in state and federal courts, including dispositive motions.
- Build cases for trial by developing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and taking and defending depositions.
- Represent public entities or handle matters related to land use, as this experience is preferred.

Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials.
- Outstanding analytical and creative thinking capabilities are required.
- Superior research and writing skills are essential.
- A strong work ethic is mandatory.
- Significant experience in litigation, particularly law and motion practice in state and federal courts, is required.
- Prior experience in building a case for trial, including developing evidence and taking and defending depositions, is necessary.
- Experience representing public entities or involvement in land use matters is preferred.

Salary Information:
- The salary range for this California-based role is $190,000 - $275,000.
- This range represents the law firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
- Actual compensation will depend on factors such as years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location.
- The law firm offers a hybrid work schedule, a reasonable billable hours requirement, annual discretionary and billable hours bonuses, competitive health insurance benefits, and a 401(k) with partial match and profit-sharing.
