Job Title: Tax Senior Manager, Privately Held Businesses
Job Responsibilities:
Lead Client Engagements:
- Manage client tasks and expectations to ensure client satisfaction.
- Lead efficiency improvements across multiple engagements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the year.
Team Leadership:
- Collaborate with engagement teams to ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.
- Exceed client expectations by maintaining strong partnerships with internal engagement teams.
Client Management & Consulting:
- Provide innovative tax planning and compliance expertise.
- Advise on tax structures, buy/sell side planning and reporting, and tax-saving strategies for an acquisitive focused client base.
- Offer proactive, forward-thinking solutions to meet client needs.
Business Development & Practice Growth:
- Work closely with the Partner to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Support ongoing practice development efforts.
Cross-Functional Support:
- Contribute to firm-wide projects and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure the success of core Private Client Services tax functions.
Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- CPA or JD
- 5-10 years of progressive experience at a public accounting firm
- Knowledge and experience in Private Client Services taxation including C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, and tax research
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Strong external and internal communication skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.
- Initiative to learn, operate in a fast-paced environment, challenge the status quo, develop strong internal relationships, and maintain flexibility
Salary Information:
Estimated Salary Range: $110,000 - $210,000
- Salaries are determined based on factors such as the candidate's relevant skillset, experience, licensure, and certifications, as well as job responsibilities, geography, market considerations, and organizational needs.
