Job Title: Senior Associate, State & Local Income Tax, Asset Management

Job Responsibilities:
- Support multi-state companies with state and local income tax compliance.
- Help clients address tax issues related to state and local income and franchise taxes.
- Review state income and franchise tax estimated payments, extensions, and tax returns.
- Assist in handling notices received from state tax authorities.
- Foster relationships both internally within the company and externally with clients.
- Employ excellent writing, compliance, communication, and tax research skills.
- Perform effectively in a high-energy team environment.

Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum of three years of recent experience in preparing and/or reviewing state income tax returns and providing technical advice on multi-state tax issues.
- A Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; however, a Bachelor's degree with requisite hours to pursue CPA certification or JD/LLM is acceptable.
- CPA certification is considered a plus.
- Experience in state income tax return review is required.

Salary Information:
- KPMG complies with local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. The salary offered is determined based on relevant factors such as the applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees, certifications, and market considerations.
- The California salary range for this position is $66,300 to $136,500.
