Estate Planning and Probate Attorney, Contract Duties: Prepare probate petitions (regular probates, special administrations, summary probate proceedings) and attending court hearings. Drafting basic and advanced estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts. Preparing deed paperwork for trust transfers and gift transactions. Performing trust administrations from start to finish, including Heggstad petitions, and petitions to modify/terminate trusts.

Requirements: LLM in Tax or estate planning highly desired. Licensed by the CA state Bar. 1+ year experience in estate planning, trust administration, or probate is REQUIRED. Superior client communication, writing, research, computer and organizational skills. Comfort and competency with computers. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook mandatory. Experience with advanced estate planning techniques such as GRATs, IDGTs, and family limited partnerships.
