A distinguished law firm seeks a Patent Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join its intellectual property team. This role involves managing patent prosecution, IP litigation, and portfolio development across diverse technological fields, including electrical engineering, software, and mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a technical background, be registered with the USPTO, and be able to provide strategic counsel on intellectual property matters.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute patent prosecution for various technologies, including electrical, software, and mechanical innovations.
- Provide legal counsel on patent and trademark matters, including litigation, licensing, and intellectual property portfolio strategy.
- Draft and review patent and trademark applications, responses to office actions, and related legal documents.
- Work closely with clients, inventors, and stakeholders to understand their innovations and offer strategic intellectual property protection and monetization guidance.
- Assist in IP enforcement efforts, including litigation strategy and risk assessment.
- Stay informed of evolving patent laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure clients receive top-tier guidance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in patent prosecution and/or intellectual property litigation.
- A degree in electrical engineering, computer technology, or mechanical engineering is strongly preferred.
- Registered Patent Attorney with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office).
- Must be admitted to the state bar in the state where they reside.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
