A law firm based in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Litigation Attorney to support legal proceedings related to foreclosure, bankruptcy, and other real property matters. Duties:
Draft and analyze pleadings, motions, and legal documents relevant to litigation matters
Participate in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and code enforcement hearings across the state (remote and in-person)
Collaborate directly with financial institution clients to deliver high-quality legal representation
Maintain professional standards of confidentiality and discretion in client interactions
Ensure adherence to applicable foreclosure, bankruptcy, and debt recovery laws and regulations
Requirements:
2 years of litigation experience preferred
Familiarity with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure is advantageous
Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently
Proven ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment
Experience working with mortgage servicers or related financial entities is a plus
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the ABA
Certifications:
Active membership in the Florida Bar (required)
