Job Title: Senior Manager, Global Equity

Experience: Minimum of 7 years in expatriate tax, employer benefit strategies, or incentive compliance experience; preferred experience in at least 3 of the following areas: total rewards and benefits, global compensation and equity sourcing and taxation, domestic and global employment tax compliance and consulting, merger and acquisition advisory, executive compensation and compensation integration, mobility tax compliance and consulting, corporate taxation, ASC 718, ASC 740, share-based compensation delivery and data and analytics.

Salary Range: $137,300 - $292,600 (California)

Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead a team in assisting clients with global incentive arrangements, including share-based compensation and KPMG's sourcing/reporting tool.
- Apply local jurisdictional corporate and payroll tax rules to incentive arrangements.
- Identify and analyze operational matters that may contribute to tax exposure.
- Engage with member firms for technical support and provide executive and employee communications.
- Identify tax savings opportunities and plan and design global incentive arrangements to optimize tax and operational efficiencies.
- Advise on corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs, and more, and their impact on global incentive arrangements.
- Cultivate and maintain senior-level client relationships and deliver on technical, compliance, and operational matters with a high level of accountability for quality service delivery.
- Lead engagement teams on daily service delivery and operations, ensuring effective and efficient compliance and consulting services.
- Manage quality, risk, and financial performance of engagements, including team assignments, timely billing, collections, and budget.
- Collaborate, contribute, and present to external and internal clients and participate in business development activities.
- Coach and mentor other tax professionals and be responsible for the development and motivation of the engagement team.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 7 years of recent experience in expatriate tax, employer benefit strategies, or incentive compliance experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), JD/Master of Laws (LLM), Enrolled Agent, or Certified Equity Professional (CEP), in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing.
- Strong project management skills with experience in leading multiple large complex multi-national client engagements and client service teams.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and anticipate client needs.
- Capability to reimagine and convey innovative ideas, approaches, and solutions.
