A boutique estate planning and probate law firm based in Martin County, Florida is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep knowledge in estate planning and probate law, possess a collaborative and mentorship-focused mindset, and have a genuine passion for helping clients preserve their legacies. This position offers an opportunity to work with high-net-worth clients, manage complex legal strategies, and play a key leadership role within the firm. Location:

  • Palm City, Florida

Duties:

  • Lead all aspects of estate planning and probate cases

  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents

  • Communicate with clients, other counsel, and financial advisors to execute legal strategies

  • File legal pleadings and attend court hearings as necessary

  • Oversee trust funding processes

  • Serve as lead attorney on complex cases

  • Provide strategic insight and leadership within the legal team

  • Mentor associate attorneys and guide professional development

  • Offer legal counsel on procedural strategies and case execution

Requirements:

  • Significant hands-on experience in estate planning and probate law

  • Proven ability to handle high-net-worth client matters and complex estate strategies

  • Leadership and mentoring experience in a law firm setting

  • Willingness to collaborate in a close-knit, professional environment

  • Interest in contributing to a positive and growth-oriented workplace culture

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning strongly preferred

Certifications:

  • Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar

  • Board Certification in Wills, Trusts, and Estates preferred but not required

Skills:

  • Proficiency in advanced estate planning techniques (., SLATs, ILITs, GRATs, QPRTs)

  • Excellent legal drafting and research abilities

  • Strong client communication and interpersonal skills

  • High level of attention to detail and organizational proficiency

  • Ability to manage and oversee multiple cases simultaneously

  • Dependability and professionalism in a client-facing role

  • Collaborative team player and mentor
