Job Title: Senior Patent Counsel/Agent

Job Responsibilities:
- Draft patent applications, both in-house and with external patent attorneys, particularly in the field of 3GPP technologies.
- Prosecute patent applications globally, collaborating with both external and internal patent attorneys.
- Regularly evaluate filed patent applications.
- Review claim charts and work collaboratively to determine claim scope and mapping to standards.
- Work closely with the inventor community to protect inventions in the development of 5G and 6G standards.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics/Mathematics, or an equivalent field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with 3GPP related patent applications and prosecution is mandatory.
- Must be a qualified European Patent Attorney, US Patent Attorney/Agent, or Indian Patent Agent.

Additional Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with 3GPP radio related technologies and standards is advantageous.
- Ability to innovate and adapt to new methodologies.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Possess strong business judgment, analytical acumen, and communication skills.
- Results-driven with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- A collaborative team player mentality is crucial.

Salary Information:
- US Annual Base Salary Range: $147,609 - $274,130
- Canada Annual Base Salary Range: $128,333 - $238,333
- Plus potential incentive/variable compensation for eligible roles.
- Note: The company maintains broad salary ranges to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and internal peer equity.
