Job Title: Housing Stability Attorney

- Multiple temporary full-time positions available in various counties
- Focus on ensuring safe, stable, and secure housing for low-income individuals
- Placed in one of five LASP offices: Bristol, Norristown, Pottstown, West Chester, or Chester city
- Case goals include safe, stable, and secure housing as defined by DHS
- Handle landlord-tenant cases and other related practice areas
- Potential for continued employment after September 2025
- Hybrid work model with a mix of in-office and remote work

Responsibilities:
- Interview clients and determine eligibility for services
- Conduct legal research and interpret laws and regulations
- Provide advice and counsel to clients
- Prepare legal documents and develop case strategies
- Represent clients in court and before administrative agencies
- Collaborate with external organizations and participate in community education
- Stay updated on community needs and referral resources
- Abide by professional standards of ethics and practice
- Complete administrative tasks and ensure compliance with grant requirements
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania or eligible for admission
- Minimum of two years of experience preferred
- Proficiency in word processing, case management software, and legal research tools
- Passion for public interest law and serving vulnerable populations
- Strong written and oral advocacy and organizational skills

Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary starting at $58,000, commensurate with experience
- Excellent benefits including 401K, health insurance, and generous leave provisions
