Job Title:
Estate and Trust Practice (ETP) Attorney (5+ years)

Job Responsibilities:
The Estate and Trust Practice (ETP) Attorney is responsible for providing comprehensive legal services within the estate and trust practice, which is one of the largest in the Pacific Northwest. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing tax support for the law firm's business transition and succession planning practice.
- Demonstrating knowledge of community property law, particularly in Washington.
- Developing and maintaining a client portfolio, with a focus on serving clients in one or more of the law firm’s key industry sectors, including Technology, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Manufacturing and Retail, Natural Resources, Real Estate and Construction, Ports and Maritime, and Indian Country and Alaska Native Corporations.
- Collaborating with colleagues and clients to achieve successful outcomes.
- Engaging in entrepreneurial and growth-oriented activities to expand the practice.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of five years of legal work experience in relevant areas of estate and trust law.
- Admission to both the Washington State Bar and Oregon State Bar is required.
- Experience in serving clients within the key industry sectors of the law firm, particularly within a law firm setting, is preferred.
- A strong entrepreneurial mindset, growth orientation, and client service focus are essential.
- A portable book of business and/or demonstrated success in developing a client portfolio is advantageous.

Salary Information:
The base pay range for the Estate and Trust Practice (ETP) Attorney position is $165,000-$225,000, depending on the candidate's job skills and legal practice experience relevant to the position. Higher base compensation may be available for candidates with a substantial portable book of business. The position is also eligible for productivity and discretionary merit bonus consideration at the end of each calendar year.

- The position can be based in Vancouver, Seattle, or Portland.
