Duties

  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence

  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and case summaries

  • Represent clients in court during hearings, pre-trial conferences, and trials

  • Engage in discovery, evidence organization, and case strategy development

  • Negotiate case outcomes with opposing counsel and involved parties

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide updates and counsel

  • Analyze applicable laws, regulations, and judicial decisions to support casework

  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff in building and executing case strategies

Requirements

  • Experience in family law and/or criminal defense preferred

  • Demonstrated courtroom experience, including motion practice and trial preparation

  • Strong writing and analytical skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Commitment to client-centered legal representation

  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (Required)

Certifications

  • Active and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar
