Job Title: Director, Regulatory Compliance Risk - Enterprise Services
Job Responsibilities:
The Director, Regulatory Compliance Risk - Enterprise Services is a pivotal role within the company’s Enterprise Services Division, focusing on compliance risk management. This position supports the second line compliance function for the Enterprise Services Division, a dynamic component of the company, which includes various programs like the enterprise GenAI program, Software business, tech organization, and the enterprise data, products, and platforms organization. The role involves advising business leaders on product and service development, managing a team of compliance professionals, and overseeing the administration of the company’s Compliance Management Program for Enterprise Services functions. The Director will also collaborate with the Compliance Officer (CO) and engage with leaders in other compliance areas such as Privacy, Fair Lending, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and improving the compliance risk management function for assigned components of the Enterprise Services division.
- Serving as an authority on compliance expectations, laws, and regulations, and assessing their impact on the business.
- Promoting a culture of compliance risk management and ensuring appropriate monitoring and corrective actions are in place.
- Overseeing the development and execution of the Compliance Management Program to ensure compliance risk is managed through sound governance, controls, testing, and risk escalation.
- Collaborating with business partners and other support groups to ensure products, practices, and services remain within the company’s compliance risk appetite.
- Building partnerships with other risk advisors and compliance peers to ensure consistent and comprehensive guidance to the business.
- Reporting compliance results to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Monitoring work plans for remediation of any internal or regulatory findings.
- Leading and overseeing people management processes including recruiting, performance management, training, and development.
- Displaying emotional intelligence, fostering team dynamics, and maximizing team potential.
Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
- At least 8 years of legal, compliance, risk management, or regulatory experience within consumer financial services.
- At least 5 years of people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor or Master’s Degree.
- At least 8 years of people management experience.
Salary Information:
For the role of Director, Compliance, the salary varies based on location:
- McLean, VA: $200,100 - $228,400
- Richmond, VA: $181,800 - $207,500
Candidates hired to work in other locations will receive salary offers based on the pay range associated with that location. The role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
