Job Responsibilities:
Participants in the EDGE Internship Summer Program will engage in a variety of tasks designed to introduce them to the field of Intellectual Property (IP). Interns will be responsible for conducting patent and technical research, as well as drafting documents for attorney review. They will also review patent applications and perform research and reporting on patent filings. Additional duties and projects may be assigned by the intern’s direct report, providing a comprehensive learning experience in the IP domain.

Interns will have the opportunity to work directly with intellectual property professionals and gain exposure to the patent engineer, scientist, and agent program. This hands-on experience will be under the mentorship of highly skilled professionals in the industry, allowing interns to develop their research and writing skills while becoming knowledgeable about the latest technologies and technical developments.

Education and Experience Information:
The EDGE Internship Summer Program is open to students who are pursuing degrees in engineering and science fields. Eligible candidates include those working towards a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, ., or Post-Doctoral studies.
