**H2: About the Position**

- Associate Attorney position with 1-3 years of experience in land use and environmental law in California
- Hybrid remote position, with the option to work from either the South San Francisco or Sacramento office
- Responsibilities include investigating, developing, and enforcing legal and regulatory issues related to large scale industrial, electric utility, residential, and commercial projects
- Collaborate with supervising attorneys and professional staff on factual investigation, legal research, case development, record review, and more
- Represent clients before federal and state administrative and regulatory agencies, municipalities, and other local governmental agencies, in settlement negotiations, and in court
- Participate in general rulemaking and regulatory proceedings, as well as state and local legislative hearings
