Duties:

• Handle and defend civil litigation cases, from pre-trial investigation through trial

• Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs, motions, and other documents

• Represent clients in court, hearings, and depositions

• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement legal strategies

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court

• Manage case load and meet deadlines effectively

• Assist in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Active license to practice law in California

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department

• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and rules of evidence

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California
