As a Senior Director, ESG & Product Regulatory Counsel at Wabtec, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's global operations and sustainability efforts. You will serve as a subject matter expert in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues and product regulatory matters, providing legal support and guidance to various teams within the organization. This is a high-level, global role that requires a strong understanding of laws and regulations related to ESG and product stewardship, as well as the ability to communicate complex legal issues to non-legal personnel.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include analyzing complex legal and factual issues, managing outside counsel, and providing legal advice and counsel on ESG and product stewardship issues. You will also work closely with the Corporate Sustainability and EHS teams, as well as other attorneys in the Legal Department, to ensure a thorough understanding of the legal issues and compliance strategies. This role is also responsible for monitoring and interpreting emerging ESG disclosure laws and regulations, as well as providing training to clients as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and a minimum of seven years of experience practicing environmental, regulatory, or ESG law. Previous experience in the transportation or heavy manufacturing industry is preferred. You must also have a strong knowledge of federal and state EHS and product laws and regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
