Job Title: Tax Director - Private Companies

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Director within the private companies sector at the company, the role involves providing a broad spectrum of business advisory services to private companies, including audit, tax compliance, and planning to enhance operational efficiency and focus on strategic business development. The director will have the opportunity to engage with the entire business lifecycle of private companies, from inception through growth, maturity, and transition. Key responsibilities include:

- Working as part of a team to solve complex business issues, from strategy through execution.
- Supporting the team to innovate and improve working methods when necessary.
- Arranging and sponsoring assignments and experiences that help people realize their potential and support their long-term aspirations.
- Identifying market gaps and spotting opportunities to create value propositions.
- Scaling efficiencies and exploring new ways of working across numerous projects and environments.

Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 8 years.
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- Demonstrated thought leadership-level knowledge and/or a proven record of success in assisting companies to understand and assess the tax impact of business operations and transactions in multiple jurisdictions.
- Deep understanding of tax compliance and consulting for various entities, including corporations, partnerships, pass-through entities, and Subchapter S corporations.
- Technical expertise with ASC740.
- Ability to identify and address client needs and develop and sustain client relationships.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities.
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials.
- Ability to define resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection.
- Leadership skills to generate a vision, establish direction, and motivate team members.
- Ability to create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is between $140,900 and $434,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. The actual compensation within this range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
